Truffles and bite sized chocolates are the perfect treat for the warm seasons we’re now approaching. They’re easy to make and easier to carry with you anywhere.

Recently I have been traveling a decent amount and, of course, I bring chocolates with me for anyone I am spending time with. Truffles and bonbons have been my go to as they are always a big winner with friends and family. After all, who doesn’t love a soft centre?

I have been drawing from my older posts as inspiration and I thought you might like to do the same. So, I rounded up my favourite and the most “liked” and “commented” on truffle posts from the past 6 months and put them in this post for you to try.

Matcha Truffles

  • The stunning green powder on the outside of these truffles draws people in immediately. What keeps them coming back is the silky smooth ganache truffle inside that beautifully tempered shell of dark chocolate. These are a lovely little opener to any Summer time meal. Your guests will thank you for serving “dessert” as the amuse bouche — more chocolate 🙂

Red Velvet Squares

  • These were a big hit the first time around! The trick to these is getting the right beetroot powder and using enough of it for that colour to pop. But, even without it, these are soft and rich in flavour.

Coffee Truffles with Hazelnut and Cinnamon

  • Best for last ? Indeed!! Admittedly, I am a sucker for anything coffee related, so maybe I can’t be trusted. BUT the comments I received from people who made and LOVED these was off the charts! Enjoy these any time of day, but with a hot cup of tea or ( dare I suggest ) coffee, sitting outside enjoying the beauty of nature… YES!!!
