What we cover in class
- Learn how to create a variety desserts; Mango Coconut Tart, Fermented Cheesecake & Almond Brownie Dessert Bars.
- Flavour balancing is a crucial part of being a chef of any kind and it’s, in part, what will make your desserts stand out from others. We’ll explore this in class so you know how what to add for that flavour pop and a well rounded dessert.
- We’ll get into some simple fermentation by fermenting cashews, for our cheesecake, using different starter liquids to encourage more depth of flavour and nutritional properties through the fermentation process.
- Learn how to make nut free desserts with the Mango Coconut Tartlets.
- All desserts are free from wheat, gluten, dairy and refined sugars.
- Take home a selection of desserts to share with your loved ones, or keep it for yourself! 🙂
A laid back learning environment with lots of hands on experience.
- This class is suitable for people of all experience levels.
- Children are welcome. If they are under 10 years old, they will need to be accompanied by an adult.
- After class, you’ll be sent the recipes from the class so you can make the desserts at home.
